(First Prize)!
四位同學以極具深度的專題 ——《自力更生的悖論:香港學生的污名化問題》 (“The Paradox of Self-Reliance: Student Stigma in Hong Kong”) 參賽。

[English Department News] Our Students Clinch First Prize at International Presentation Competition
We are thrilled to announce that our 3B students Leung Pak Yin, Ngan Yat Hei, Wong Tsz Wing, and 3C student Kwok Ka Kit have achieved the First Prize in the presentation competition at the 6th “Let Students Talk About Education” International Conference 2026!
Tackling this year’s crucial global theme, “Mental Health,” our team delivered a powerful and thought-provoking presentation titled “The Paradox of Self-Reliance: Student Stigma in Hong Kong.”
As a prestigious international academic event, the competition drew elite schools from across the globe. Demonstrating exceptional caliber, our team stood on equal footing with Hong Kong’s traditional powerhouses, sharing the ultimate top spot alongside schools including Diocesan Girls’ School (DGS) and Maryknoll Fathers’ School to claim the First Prize!
Competing alongside brilliant peers from Singapore, Canada, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, and Mainland China, our students truly shone on the international stage. Demonstrating a proactive and analytical approach, they provided an in-depth analysis and shared unique insights into the emotional pressures and social stigmas faced by local youth. Their outstanding performance, coupled with fluent English public speaking skills and deep empathy, completely won over the judging panel!
This fruitful journey provided our students with an invaluable platform to exchange ideas beyond the traditional classroom setting. In addition to broadening their global horizons, it significantly enhanced their collaboration, critical thinking, and public speaking skills. Way to go, team! You have made the whole school incredibly proud!
Looking ahead, next year’s conference will explore ways to support students with special educational needs (SEN). We look forward to seeing our students continue to use the power of youth voices to make an inspiring impact on society!
