Halloween English Speaking Day
Trick or Treat? Yes, it is Halloween again! The English department prepared candies to give out to our students and this encouraged them to have conversations about their favourite food, countries and festivals with their English teachers.
The aim of the English Department this year was to bring a festive atmosphere for our students to enjoy, this was done by providing Halloween treats. The Halloween English Café which was jointly organised with Home Economics Department, was opened during lunch on Wednesday 31st October. At the cafe the students learned to make some spooky but tasty Halloween treats, such as witches’ fingers, mummy biscuits, bloody juice, bleeding buns and screaming bananas. The students enjoyed making the Halloween treats as their desserts, after their lunchtime meals.
