本校於2025-26學年正式成為「教育無邊界」(Teach Unlimited Foundation, TUF)的夥伴學校。兩位啟導友師(Program Mentors)Ashley和Sophie已進駐校園,提供創意與成效兼備的友師指導及個人化學習支援,致力提升學生的自尊感(Self-Esteem)、學習態度(Learning Attitude)及學習動機(Learning Motivation),引導他們邁向更美好的未來。

兩位啟導友師積極參與英語協作教學及各類語文活動,為學生帶來顯著的正面影響:

英語教學協作:遊戲化與 AI 的智慧融合
友師Ashley和Sophie深入英語課堂,根據學生的學習差異與興趣,量身打造實用且有趣的教材。透過引入人工智能(AI)技術,她們設計出多款結合潮流話題的英語遊戲,將枯燥的語法轉化為易於上手的互動體驗,有效打破學生對英語的隔閡,重燃學習熱誠。

英文周暨精神健康雙周
為推廣精神健康的重要性,友師在英文周暨精神健康雙周中,化身動漫角色並創作英語口號,在台上進行宣傳。此外,友師設計了切合社交媒體潮流的「迷因(Meme)」攤位,鼓勵學生發揮創意,以輕鬆有趣的方式接觸英語。除了桌上遊戲外,友師藉著一杯溫暖舒心的熱茶和同學放鬆身心,讓茶香撫平思緒,重拾平靜。

午休時間的校園不再只有飯後的喧囂,更迴盪著英語交談的歡笑聲。友師們幫忙策劃了午間英語遊戲攤位,從考驗反應的單字接龍到充滿驚喜的英語謎語挑戰,吸引各級同學踴躍參與。這不僅讓英語學習跳出課本框架,更提供了一個安全的嘗試環境,讓學生在輕鬆的氛圍下克服開口說英語的恐懼。

茶藝活動:品茗學英語與跨科協作
學生在友師Ashley策劃的「Tea Zen & Treats」英語攤位中體驗放鬆的藝術!學生一邊品嚐精選茶點,一邊掌握有關飲食的英語詞彙。從學習如何「沖泡(steep)」完美茶湯,到描述零食的「酥脆(crisp)」口感,攤位活動融合了文化鑑賞與互動英語練習。

此外,友師更與中文科合作於中華文化周舉辦了以「人與自然──從茶文化看天人合一」為主題的茶藝工作坊。友師帶領學生透過茶文化探索中國文化中天人合一的和諧境界。茶藝工作坊將教室轉化成了一個充滿禪意的空間。同學們親身參與了茗茶品鑑及茶席美學設計,這些體驗不再只是單向的知識傳遞,而是一場全方位的感官體驗。同學們穿梭於茶香之間,看著茶葉在沸水中緩緩舒展,彷彿看見了雲霧繚繞的山巔與節氣流轉的痕跡。同學們觀察茶葉從葉片到茶湯的轉化,也讓同學們反思茶樹由生長到被採摘再成為眼前的這盞茶湯所反映的人與自然互動的過程,讓他們直觀地感受到了人類與大自然密不可分的關係。

【夢想飛航 • 伴你同行】計劃(Dream-pursuing Project, DPP)
友師為學生搭建擴闊視野、發掘潛能的平台。此計劃著重加強學生的自我認識,讓他們釐清人生目標。友師透過系統化的集體遊戲與工作紙引導,帶領同學深入探索自我,釐清個人的強項與興趣。這份自我認識的深化,幫助學生在人生交叉點上找尋適合自己的發展道路,為未來藍圖增添色彩。

個別啟導:生命影響生命的深度對話
除了群體活動,友師更為特定學生提供個別啟導(Individual Mentoring)。在私人且具包容性的空間中,友師成為了學生的傾聽者與同行者。透過一對一的深入交流,友師協助學生排解學習上的迷茫與生活中的情緒困擾。這種個人化的支援模式,讓學生感受到被看見與被重視,從而在建立互信的基礎上,逐步重拾對自我的肯定,建立積極的人生價值觀。

上半年度的啟導工作已初見成效,校園內正悄然發生正向改變。展望未來,我們期望與 TUF 友師持續攜手,在培養學生自尊感與學習熱誠的同時,裝備他們面對未來所需的關鍵能力,助學生實現人生與職涯的抱負。

Teach Unlimited Foundation (TUF) x BSC: 2025-26 Mentorship Review

In the 2025-26 academic year, our school officially became a partner school of the Teach Unlimited Foundation (TUF). Two Program Mentors, Ashley and Sophie, have joined our campus to provide creative and effective mentorship alongside personalized learning support. Their mission is to enhance students’ Self-Esteem, refine their Learning Attitude, and ignite their Learning Motivation, guiding them toward a brighter future.

Ashley and Sophie have actively participated in English co-teaching and various language activities, bringing a significant positive impact to our students:

English Co-teaching: A Fusion of Gamification and AI

Ashley and Sophie have integrated deeply into English classrooms, tailoring practical and engaging teaching materials based on students’ diverse learning needs and interests. By leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), they have designed several English games centred around trending topics. This approach transforms dry grammar into accessible, interactive experiences, effectively breaking down barriers to English and reigniting students’ passion for learning.

Walk for Wellness Mental Health Awareness Week and English Week

To emphasize the importance of mental wellness, the mentors adopted anime personae and crafted English slogans for on-stage advocacy during the Mental Health Week and English Week carnivals. Furthermore, they established a “Meme” booth at the English Carnival—aligning with current social media trends—to encourage creative expression through English in a fun context. Beyond interactive board games, the mentors provided warm, soothing tea to help students unwind, utilizing the aroma to alleviate their mental stress.

During lunch breaks, the campus now is filled with laughter between English conversation rather than mere bustle. The mentors helped to curate “Lunchtime English Game Booths,” featuring activities ranging from high-speed word chains to intriguing riddle challenges. These booths have attracted students across all levels, offering a secure environment to apply English beyond the constraints of textbooks and helping them overcome the hesitation to speak in a relaxed, informal setting.

Tea Arts: Culture Enrichment and Cross-Curricular Synergy

At the “Tea Zen & Treats” booth curated by Ashley, students explored the art of relaxation while acquiring culinary-related English vocabulary. From learning the mechanics of “steeping” the perfect tea to describing the “crisp” texture of snacks in English, this initiative seamlessly blended cultural appreciation with interactive English practice.

In addition, the mentors collaborated with the Chinese Language Department to host a tea art workshop during Chinese Culture Week, themed “Humans and Nature: Exploring the Unity of Heaven and Humanity through Tea Culture.” They guided students through an exploration of the harmonious “Unity of Heaven and Humanity” inherent in Chinese philosophy. The workshop transformed the classroom into a contemplative, Zen-inspired space where students engaged in tea tasting and aesthetic tea-set design. This holistic sensory experience allowed students to observe the transformation of tea seed to tea. Reflecting on the journey from the growth of the tea tree to the final brew, students gained an intuitive understanding of the inseparable relationship between humanity and the nature.

Dream-pursuing Project (DPP): Empowering Future Aspirations

The mentors have established a platform for students to broaden their horizons and discover latent potential. The DPP emphasizes self-awareness to assist students in clarifying their life objectives. Through systematic group activities and guided worksheets, mentors lead students in an exploration of their personal strengths and interests. This deepened self-understanding empowers students to navigate life’s crossroads and adds clarity to their future career planning.

Individual Mentoring: Meaningful Dialogue and Personal Transformation

Beyond collective activities, the mentors provide individual mentoring for selected students. Within a private and inclusive environment, the mentors serve as dedicated listeners and companions. Through these profound one-on-one exchanges, they assist students in resolving academic problems and navigating emotional challenges. This personalized support model ensures that students feel recognized and valued, enabling them to rebuild self-worth and establish positive life values on a foundation of mutual trust.

The mentorship initiatives in the first half of the academic year have already yielded tangible results, with positive transformations quietly taking root within the campus. Looking forward, we anticipate continued collaboration with our TUF mentors. Our ultimate objective remains to nurture student self-esteem and academic passion while equipping them with the essential skills required for the future.
